Architect Chiara Tiberti - BB1 Architettura
The heart of the Villa Ada park in Rome is the location of Casa Estia, a project that embodies a perfect balance between contemporary practicality and classical beauty. Designed by architect Chiara Tiberti of the BB1 Architettura firm, this home is distinguished by its abundant natural daylight and a room layout that maximises comfort without sacrificing style. Casa Estia is situated within the exclusive Palazzo Domus building, a context which adds even greater value and glamour to the entire project.
The Casa Estia was selected as one of the 15 homes in Spazi Belli Open House 2025, the Spazi Belli digital event that recounts the finest residential projects by Italy’s top architects and interior designers, with unique furnishing and design solutions.
Casa Estia is arranged around a large, light-filled living area, with a separate kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a laundry room, all enjoying a delightful view of the Villa Ada park. Every corner of the home is designed to provide a relaxing lifestyle, with meticulous attention to details and a choice of materials that reflects a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.

For the guest bathroom, the architect chose the Unique Travertine by Provenza collection, a range of porcelain stoneware tiles that evokes the look of ancient Roman travertine, a timeless material that fits immaculately into a contemporary context. The choice of the 60x120 cm size in Minimal Cream finish for the wall coverings gives the room a natural, elegant, sophisticated appearance.
The Unique Travertine collection was also used in herringbone pattern, in 7.5x60 cm size, with an alternation of the Minimal and Ruled finishes, both in Cream shades. These juxtaposed textures generate an exquisite visual variety, enhanced by a large backlit mirror which gives the room greater radiance and depth.
